In this workshop, each student will learn correct posture and the positive physical and psychological effects of holding her head up high. Students will also learn how to enter any room with a self-assurance that commands respect.

It is often stated that, “First impressions are lasting impressions.” In this illuminating workshop, each young lady will learn to apply the “Diamond Rules of Introductions” to ensure that her first impressions are consistently confident, pleasant, and memorable. 

This engaging workshop focuses on the basics of introductions including eye contact, body posture, and handshakes; but it also covers the nuances of conversation such as understanding the appropriate times and manner to converse, asking questions, and interjecting oneself in adult conversation. 

Additionally, the workshop places ample focus on the important topic of body types and the hidden messages of attire.

In this eye-opening workshop, which is ideal for young ladies who have begun or are about to begin dating, students will learn practical grooming tips for maintaining healthy hair, skin, nails and teeth. They will also get an in-depth look at current styles and trends in fashion and makeup and will have the opportunity to create personalized style boards depicting appropriate looks for a variety of occasions.

As an added benefit, students will receive dating lessons that provide insight and guidance on the right guys to date, how to respond to an invitation for a date, seeking parental permission to go on a date, and expectations for a date.

“Meals & Manners” – Dining Skills

A lady’s refinement extends to all facets of her life, including her dining habits. This hands-on workshop teaches the rules and styles of table etiquette for three-course and five-course meals. Each student will learn to identify and prepare formal and informal table settings, as well as how to properly use the fork and knife and other utensils when dining.
