Terms and Conditions
1. Registration and Payment:
1.1. Registration for our etiquette workshops is completed upon submission of the registration form and payment of the applicable fee.
1.2. Full payment is due at the time of registration to secure a spot in the workshop.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
2.1. Cancellations made two weeks or more before the workshop start date will receive a refund.
2.2. Cancellations made after two weeks of the workshop start date are non-refundable.
2.3. In the event that ESE cancels a workshop, participants will receive a refund or the option to transfer to another workshop.
3. Workshop Attendance:
3.1. Participants are expected to attend all sessions of the workshop.
3.2. Missed sessions will not be refunded or credited.
3.3. If a participant is unable to attend a session, ESE should be notified in advance.
4. Code of Conduct:
4.1. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner during the workshops.
4.2. Disruptive behavior, as determined by ESE may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
5. Workshop Materials:
5.1. All workshop materials provided by ESE are for personal use only and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
6. Confidentiality:
6.1. Any personal information shared by participants during the workshop will be kept confidential by ESE.
7. Photography and Recording:
7.1. Participants may not record or photograph the workshop without the explicit permission of ESE.
7.2. Parents or clients grant permission to The Eastern School of Etiquette, LLC. (ESE) to use photographs and videos of my child or myself taken during any (ESE) events or workshops for the purpose of publicity and promotional materials.
This permission includes, but is not limited to, the use of photographs and videos in:
I understand that may name or my child's name will not be disclosed in any publication, and the focus will be on group scenes rather than individual images. The intent is to showcase the positive and inclusive environment of ESE’s events and workshops.
I acknowledge that the images and videos may be used indefinitely by ESE and that I will not be entitled to any compensation or remuneration for such use.
If, at any time, I wish to revoke this permission, I understand that I may do so by providing written notice to Valerie Nance at info@easternetiquette.com with a reasonable amount of time for processing.
8. Changes to Workshop Schedule:
8.1.ESE reserves the right to make changes to the workshop schedule, including dates, times, and locations. Participants will be notified in advance of any changes.
9. Liability:
9.1.ESE is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during the workshop.
9.2. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the workshop.
10. Governing Law:
10.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Maryland. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Montgomery County Maryland.
By registering for and participating in our etiquette workshops, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
